Suttind Seed Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1991 by Mr. Suresh Kumar, Chairman, Kumar Group of Companies, Kolkata and managed by a team of professionals. The main objective of the Company are to established a leadership in vegetable and flower seed industry at home and abroad. Since then it has developed a solid base in production of new varieties and also to provide quality seeds to the Indian farmers. The present management is led by Dr. I. K. Arora took over in 1999. The emphasis shifted to hybrid seeds keeping in view the present trends and needs of the farmers.
